TaskBoard

TaskBoard is a project management app for a design and tech agency, in one page with three views. The sidebar lists the views, five client projects with open-task counts and progress bars, and the team; the top bar has search, New task, a Demo badge and Reset. Board is a kanban with To do, In progress, Review and Done columns, My tasks groups the sample user's work by due date, and Workload compares each person's open hours with their weekly capacity. This is a front-end demo: it runs in the browser on sample data in script.js for the fictional Kalam Creative Co. in Pune, and the studio connects it to a real backend with accounts as a custom project. Cards drag between columns with a mouse, and each card's Move button opens a menu driven by arrow keys, Enter and Escape. A task modal edits title, description, assignee, due date, priority, project, estimate, checklist and comments. Filters narrow the board by assignee and priority, and changes stay in localStorage until Reset. The agency, clients, team and tasks are placeholders the studio replaces. The look is graphite with an acid-lime accent and slate, sky, amber and mint status colours, set in Bricolage Grotesque and Figtree. New cards flash in and workload bars grow, with motion off for reduced-motion users. On phones the sidebar becomes a bottom tab bar, projects open as a bottom sheet and the board shows one column at a time. It suits agencies, studios and in-house teams planning their own task tool.
