StayBook Booking Engine

StayBook is a booking engine and owner desk for a small homestay or boutique hotel, in one page with three views. Rooms shows an illustrated estate banner, a quick availability search, five room cards and a whole-estate enquiry card. Book a stay pairs a room picker and a month-view availability calendar with a price summary and booking form. Owner desk has KPI cards, a Today panel, a 30-night occupancy chart, per-room occupancy and a bookings table. This is a front-end demo: it runs in the browser on sample bookings in script.js for the fictional Kaapi Mane Estate Stay near Madikeri, and the studio connects it to a real backend as a custom project. Guests pick dates on the calendar, see nights × rate, GST and the total, and submit a validated form that adds the booking and offers a pre-filled WhatsApp message. No payment is taken. Owners check guests in or out and cancel bookings, and changes stay in localStorage until Reset. The property, rooms, rates and guests are placeholders the studio replaces. The palette is parchment cream, forest green, moss, coffee brown and terracotta, set in Fraunces and Nunito Sans with flat SVG room illustrations. Cards lift on hover and chart bars rise in, with motion off for reduced-motion users. Below 900 px the sidebar becomes a bottom tab bar and bookings turn into stacked cards. It suits homestays, boutique hotels, resorts and villa owners planning their own direct booking system.
