About this template
StockBook Inventory & Billing is a front-end demo of a back-office app for a kirana store, shown for the sample Lakshmi General Stores in Saraswathipuram, Mysuru. It opens straight into the dashboard. A sidebar groups Dashboard, Products, Stock in/out, New invoice, Invoices and Sales report; the top bar has a Demo — sample data badge and quick Stock in and New invoice buttons. The dashboard shows today's sales, stock value and low-stock alerts, with a 30-day sales chart and recent invoices.
It runs in the browser on sample data: 28 products with HSN codes and 5, 12 or 18% GST, 60 days of invoices and a stock ledger. The invoice builder takes the customer (optional GSTIN check), items, quantity, rate and GST per line, splits tax into CGST and SGST, rounds off and writes the total in words in Indian numbering, with a live preview. Saving deducts stock, and print styles produce a clean A4 tax invoice. Changes stay in localStorage; Reset demo data restores the samples. It is a front-end demo: as a custom project the studio connects it to a real backend and replaces the sample shop and products with the customer's own.
The look is ledger paper in deep green with saffron and brick accents, in IBM Plex Sans, Mono and Serif, with SVG charts drawn by the app's own code. On phones the sidebar becomes a bottom tab bar and tables stack into cards.
It suits kirana stores, pharmacies, hardware shops and small distributors.
