About this template

Hickory BBQ is a single-page website for a barbecue smokehouse or grill restaurant. A thin top bar with a call number sits above a hero with a round emblem badge, a seal and three stats, followed by an About story with a pitmaster signature, signature cuts sold by the plate, a tabbed menu (Smoked Meats, Plates, Sides, Sauce & Sweets), two deal cards, a gallery, a Why Us block, reviews, an FAQ, opening hours with a map, and contact and newsletter forms. The sample smokehouse, Ember & Oak of Austin, Texas, with its cuts, prices, deals and reviews, is placeholder text. The studio replaces it with your name, menu, photos, hours, map location and WhatsApp number. Menu tabs, the review slider, the FAQ accordion, today's hours highlight and the floating WhatsApp button already work. The contact and newsletter forms validate and confirm on the page only. The style is rustic and heavy: aged-paper backgrounds, brick red, flame orange, mustard and wood-brown, with Bevan slab headings, Oswald condensed labels and Work Sans body text from Google Fonts. The layout adapts to tablets and phones and honours reduced-motion settings. It suits barbecue joints, smokehouses, grill restaurants, steakhouses, diners and roadside eateries that want a hearty, traditional feel.
